In an earlier post I talk about how it’s better not to have competitors,but having read a few blogs elsewhere it amazes me how so many people see prospective clients as a fight waiting to happen.
In hypnotherapy, especially the more establishment clinical style of training, they teach you how to get around peoples resistance almost before anything else. Marketing people do the same thing showing how to address peoples reluctance or issues before you’ve even got to them.
I can see why these things are there, for hundreds of years, or in the case of modern lay psychotherapy and internet marketing for the last ten or fifteen years, the object has been to get the mark – sorry client – and then if necessary batter them into submission.
