In 1965, at the age of 10, a Staffordshire coal miners son sat in the 10th row of seating at the London Palladium stalls with his musical mad Mom, and caught SHOW BUSINESS! Despite his crippling hereditary Muscular and Sensory Neuropathy, and a 5 year detour into nursing, he started on a fascinating success journey that would take him from the Midlands Colliery and Social Clubs to the stages of the West End of London and Las Vegas!
Best selling author about the secrets of stage and remedial hypnosis, he knows a lot about minds and resilience, presence and influence; and if you meet him he’ll be showing you how to use yours.
On Ecademy in 2005 he was called the Gordon Ramsay of Hypnotists and in ’89 The Stage & Television Today dubbed him the ‘DreamPilot’
Career Highlights
During the 1980’s Jonathan was back stage, working with comedy show bands and magicians. He then discovered mesmerism and quickly mastered the art and rose to fame around the Working Mens and Social Clubs around the UK’s industrial Midlands, especially the Miners [Coal that is] Welfare Clubs, soon traveling further afield Nationally and across Europe and out to do seasons as far as Malta in the Mediterranean.
In 1990 he became the first English Hypnotist to perform a full comedy hypnosis show on British Radio for Wolverhampton’s Beacon Radio Midnight line with Ian Perry. A feat he repeated a few months later for Manchester Piccadilly Radio with iconic DJ James Stanich, which he describes as a bit like tap dancing on radio.
He soon followed up with a series of Past Lives Live on the Midnight Line Show again with Beacon, and is regular guest in any radio station with wheelchair access!
He won a national CIU Command Performance Award for fundraising in 1991, and same year gained a Doctor of Metaphysics, [ULC]
In 1992 he became Parliamentary Liaison for the British Council of Professional Stage Hypnotists working alongside people such as Paul McKenna and then MP Sir Gerald Howarth
From 2009 to today he occasionally presents his Past Life Live Theatre Shows or even as a more intimate Past Life Party. Often appearing with leading Devon psychic phenomena Becky Willoughby.
In 2013 he performed Stage Hypnosis at the Orleans Casino Showroom in Las Vegas for Hypnothoughts Live to great acclaim when USA Hypnosis god Jim Wand said it was the funniest show he’d ever seen.

Last couple of years he’s been retired due to ill health being diagnosed with COPD but this 69 year olds resilience appears bottomless…
2024 will also see his new book, Passion for Past Lives, publish.
